Dr. Jocelyn Lu is a dedicated and passionate General Dentist who is a current member of the Florida Dental Association, American Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Lu earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine in New Jersey and continuously makes every effort to participate in innovative training and seminars in the world of dentistry. To that end, she maintains the highest levels of education to offer her patients the best dental care. Furthermore, she strives to create smiles that brighten lives and provide the most positive and comfortable experience for every single one of her patients.
Dr. Lu loves spreading oral health and smiles! With a bachelor’s degree in sciences in Biochemistry from the University of British Columbia, where she explored her passion for life sciences and contributed to multiple publications in scientific journals, she developed a keen understanding of the human body and disease. She is around to deliver comprehensive dental care and believes in the strong correlation between oral conditions and systemic health. From her clinical and volunteer experiences in diverse settings, she realized the most incredible gift she could offer her patients was an open mind and a compassionate ear. “Two of our greatest joys in life are smiling and eating.” With her genuine love of dentistry, Dr. Lu can do more than care for people’s teeth; she can become a trusted friend, teacher, and advocate who preserves their health for a lifetime.
When Dr. Lu is not in the office, she enjoys playing the violin and piano, ice skating, ballroom dancing, traveling, and living in the moment with her husband and three babies – a chinchilla, Mini Poodle, and Frenchie.
